Entrepreneurs’ Accelerator Program – December 11, 2008
Sandy Brasher successfully completed the 2008 Entrepreneur Accelerator Program (EAP) sponsored by the Birmingham Venture Club. The mission of this program is “To equip the most promising entrepreneurs in the Birmingham area with the knowledge, access to resources and ongoing mentoring relationships that are essential to establishing and rapidly growing successful businesses.”
Sandy is the Executive Vice President and founder of Facilitaire, Inc. Facilitaire recently brought to market its first online service, Requirements-Online™, which facilitates the work of business and IT managers in collaborating on business requirements.

Facilitaire, Inc. has selected CircleSource, Inc. to provide contract services for the development of Requirements-Online™ an on-demand collaboration tool for use by business managers and information technology (IT) professionals. The five-month engagement will result in the first on-demand service provided by Facilitaire to the IT industry for gathering of business requirements.
“Requirements-Online will assist business and IT managers in understanding what firms need from new technology, and what IT organizations must deliver,” reported Ron Baldwin, President and CEO of Facilitaire. “We selected CircleSource based on the strength of their management team, and their experience developing Internet-based software systems.”

A company founded as an outgrowth of the Information Engineering & Management program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham is a finalist in the Alabama Launchpad competition. Founders of Facilitaire are Ron Baldwin and Sandy Brasher, both 2005 graduates of the Master of Science in Electrical Engineering Program. Facilitaire will provide on-demand software tools for improving collaboration between IT professionals and business managers.
